Co-Opted Canon Characters

JRRT created many characters that might have received a few paragraphs of mention even if songs were sung of their deeds through the Ages. We gave them endless pages and they came alive with fully realized personalities and stories that qualify them as having undergone transformation but they cannot ever escape their origins. Nor should they. The pantheon of the Valar, Ossë, Mairon, a large swath of the House of Finwë, including the branch of Eärendil, Elrond and his sons, Daeron, Eöl, the list is long.
